India focuses on energy flows amid West Asia crisis: Expert

Foreign affairs expert Indrani Bagchi said India is prioritising energy security amid the West Asia conflict. She said efforts are focused on ensuring safe passage of oil, LPG and fertiliser shipments through the Strait of Hormuz. She added India is sourcing supplies from countries such as Argentina and Algeria, while anticipating risks across sectors including pharmaceuticals and semiconductors.
