Tribal Ministry forms Working Group to preserve tribal languages

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs held its first Working Group on Tribal Languages meeting, chaired by Secretary Ranjana Chopra. Eminent linguists, IIT researchers, and community practitioners participated. The group will guide documentation, preservation, and promotion of tribal languages. Platform Adi Vaani, offering translation in nine tribal languages, has recorded 48,000+ downloads and 6,500 monthly users.
