India fourth highest emitter of carbon dioxide: Study

Accounting for 7% of global emissions in 2017, India is the fourth highest emitter of carbon dioxide in the world, a study by Global Carbon Project said. In 2017, the top four emmiters were China (27%), the US (15%), the European Union (10%) and India (7%), the study said. India showed 4% growth in global emission from 2016 to 2017.
