India and France will jointly launch the TRISHNA (Thermal InfraRed Imaging Satellite for High-resolution Natural Resource Assessment) mission in 2027, aimed at enhancing global water resource management, agricultural monitoring, and climate resilience. The satellite will provide high-resolution thermal imaging data to track water stress, crop health, irrigation efficiency.
