India gets new chiefs of Northern Army Command, Integrated Defence Staff

Lt General Pratik Sharma has taken over as chief of Indian Army's Northern Command, replacing Lt General Suchindra Kumar, who superannuated on Wednesday. Additionally, Air Marshal Narmdeshwar Tiwari took charge as Vice Chief of Air Staff, replacing Air Marshal SP Dharkar following his superannuation. Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit also took over as new Chief of Integrated Defence Staff.
