India gives approval to Musk's Starlink to launch satellite internet services: Report

Elon Musk-owned Starlink has received Indian government's approval to launch satellite internet services, PTI reported. The Department of Telecommunications issued a letter of intent after Starlink agreed to comply with licensing conditions critical to national security, Livemint reported. The government had earlier issued licenses to Eutelsat OneWeb and Jio Satellite Communications.
