India went medal-less in men's doubles tennis for the first time in 28 years at the Asian Games. Yuki Bhambri and Dhakshineswar Suresh ended their campaign in quarter-finals, while Anirudh Chandrasekar and N Sriram Balaji had also faced a quarter-final exit. India had secured gold medals in 2002, 2006, 2010, 2018 editions and silver in 2014 and 2018 editions.
