India in talks with 12 nations to sign FTA: Union Minister Piyush Goyal

Union Minister Piyush Goyal said India is currently in talks with 12 countries to sign Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), according to a Moneycontrol report. India recently signed an FTA with New Zealand, under which New Zealand granted 100% duty-free access to Indian exporters. In January 2026, India signed an FTA with the European Union, which has 27 member states.
