India in talks with Iran over safe passage of 20 tankers: Report

India is in talks with Iran to secure safe passage for over 20 oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz, according to a report. Negotiations are being handled by Ministry of External Affairs, the report said. The narrow waterway, through which about one-fifth of the world’s crude normally flows, has been disrupted since the war in the Persian Gulf began.
