India in talks with US for risk insurance on oil shipments: Report

Indian government is in talks with US authorities and International Development Finance Corporation for risk insurance for oil vessels shipping from the Middle East, Reuters reported citing officials. The move is an effort to shield buyers from potential supply disruptions caused by the crisis in the Gulf. Earlier, President Donald Trump said US will provide insurance for impacted shipments.
