India is a partner of choice for Germany: Chancellor Merz

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who is on his first official visit to India, said, "India is a desired partner...a partner of choice for Germany." He added, "We want to elevate the relations between India and Germany to an even higher level." Both countries are holding bilateral talks to review progress in their Strategic Partnership, which recently marked its 25th anniversary.
