India is watchful of Chinese vessel docked in Maldives: MEA

Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said India is watchful of the Chinese research vessel currently docked in Maldives, adding that India is taking "appropriate measures" to safeguard its national and economic security. The vessel, Xiang Yang Hong 03, returned to Maldivian waters within two months. Maldives earlier said that it hadn't allowed China to conduct research on its territory.
