India launched rescue operation after US attacked Iranian warship in Indian Ocean: Navy

The Indian Navy said it launched a rescue operation on Wednesday after US attacked Iranian warship IRIS Dena, which was returning from India, in the Indian Ocean. India launched a long-range maritime patrol aircraft to aid Sri Lanka's rescue operations, and kept another aircraft with air-droppable life rafts on standby. INS Tarangini and INS Ikshak were also deployed.
