India launches Operation Indravati to evacuate Indians in Haiti

India begins Operation Indravati to evacuate its nationals from Haiti to the Dominican Republic, as announced by EAM Dr S Jaishankar. On Thursday 21 March, 12 Indians were evacuated and more are expected to follow. The EAM has thanked the government of the Dominican Republic for assisting in evacuation efforts.
