India launches RBSK 2.0 to boost child health screening and care

India has launched RBSK 2.0, upgrading its child health screening programme to cover children from birth to 18 years. The guidelines expand the 4Ds approach and include mental health and non-communicable diseases. With digital tracking, improved referrals, and wider screening through schools and Anganwadis, it aims for better early detection and comprehensive child care.
