India levies anti-dumping duty on chemical imports from China, S Korea

India has imposed an anti-dumping duty of up to $557 per tonne on a chemical imported from China, Korea and Thailand for five years. The move aims to protect domestic players as the chemical named Epichlorohydrin was being exported to India from these nations at below-normal prices. The chemical is mainly used in the adhesive industry.
