India likely to grow faster than RBI forecast: World Bank's Mishra

India is likely to grow faster than the RBI's projections, said Neelkanth Mishra, the newly appointed Executive Director at the World Bank. The RBI on Friday lowered its FY26 growth forecast to 6.6% from 6.9% and its FY27 forecast to 6.3% from 6.7%. Mishra described the revised outlook as conservative as the economy is performing better than the projections indicate.
