India lose a Test after winning toss under Kohli's captaincy for the first time ever

Australia defeated India in first Test in Adelaide by eight wickets on the third day of the match. This is the first time that India lost a Test match after winning the toss under Virat Kohli's captaincy. Prior to this match, Virat Kohli had won 25 tosses in Test cricket and had led India to 21 victories and four draws.
