India lost to fifth-ranked Japan in the men's volleyball quarter-finals at Asian Games 2022. Japan won the match 3-0 (25-16, 25-18, 25-17). India, who are ranked 73rd in the world, will next play the fifth place classification match. India had defeated 27th-ranked South Korea in group match and 43rd-ranked Chinese Taipei in the round of 12.
