India maintained 7.7% growth despite West Asia crisis: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said India's economy has shown resilience by recording 7.7% growth despite the West Asia crisis. He said the conflict posed challenges for India due to its dependence on the region for crude oil, LPG, fertilisers and chemicals. "Despite this, India has maintained growth rate of 7.7%, emerging as the fastest-growing major economy," he said.
