India has seen minimal increases in petrol and diesel prices amid a global oil crisis, maintaining stability for 78 days before initiating a phased hike in mid-May. The cumulative increase was approximately ₹7 per litre through four increments, contrasting sharply with significant surges in several other countries. Current petrol prices in Delhi stand at around ₹102 per litre.
