India marks 16th Organ Donation Day with new initiatives

India observed the 16th Indian Organ Donation Day in New Delhi, where Union Minister of state Anupriya Patel called organ donation the greatest act of compassion. She said over 5 lakh people have pledged to donate organs through the national portal. The government also launched new awareness and digital initiatives to strengthen organ donation and transplantation.
