India may buy massive wall-like radar system from Russia for ₹33,930 crore: Report

India is in advanced discussions to buy a massive wall-like Voronezh radar system from Russia to neutralise Chinese threats in a $4 billion (over ₹33,930 crore) deal, ET reported citing RT (formerly Russia Today). Developed by Russia's Almaz-Antey Corporation, it has a vertical range exceeding 8,000 km and a horizontal reach of over 6,000 km, ET and Sputnik reported.
