India may face a drinking water and power shortage in summer this year as the country's main reservoirs have hit their lowest March levels in five years, Reuters reported, citing government data. The 150 reservoirs monitored by the Centre were filled to just 40% of capacity last week, the report said. Notably, Bengaluru is currently facing a shortage of water.
