India may find Russian oil cheaper despite 100% sanctions due to costly alternatives: Report

India is unlikely to cut its Russian oil purchases in the near term despite the US' planned 100% sanctions as alternatives are scarce and costly, Moneycontrol reported, citing experts. UAE is reportedly selling crude at a $10-15/barrel premium to Dubai, which itself is at $127/barrel. "This means that even if UAE could provide more barrels...they'd cost far more," experts said.
