India needs more planes for its population: Akasa Air co-founder
Akasa Air co-founder Aditya Ghosh in a conversation with Raj Shamani revealed that India had just over 100 airplanes for a population of 100 crore in 2002. He added that now even with 600 planes, India is still massively underserved. He further said that in US over 7,000 commercial planes serve a population of 35 crore.
