India is tough but worth it: Lightspeed's Somaia on Sequoia's exit

Days after Sequoia Capital hived off its Indian unit, Lightspeed Venture Partners' Bejul Somaia said, "India is not for the faint-hearted. India is tough. But India is worth it." He further said that India's potential remains "incredibly compelling". "You can't force this market...you have to be patient, quality-oriented, disciplined...and prepared to play the long game," he added.
