India officially identifies 27 places in Arunachal amid China's attempts to rename places

The government has officially identified 27 places in Arunachal Pradesh amid China's repeated attempts to rename places in the state. "Identifying them formally on the Survey of India map of Arunachal Pradesh is aimed at facilitating accurate recognition and better awareness among the public at large," government said. The places include Longju, Maja, Bisa and Bara Kundun, among others.
