India has opened the first Paragliding World Cup of South East Asia in Himachal Pradesh’s Bir Billing today. The World Cup has 130 paragliders from 35 countries, with a French contingent of several World Cup and Super Cup winners. The Airports Authority of India-sponsored event will end on October 31 and expects to host around 20,000 spectators and adventure enthusiasts.
