India overtakes China to be MSCI Emerging Markets IMI's top weight

India has overtaken China as the largest weight on the MSCI EM Investable Market Index (IMI). It is now nearing the mark of surpassing China to become the top weight on the broader MSCI Emerging Markets index as well. MSCI EM IMI includes large, mid and small-cap stock representations across 24 Emerging Markets (EM) countries.
