India-Pak game breaks Women's T20 WC group-stage attendance record

A total of 18,814 spectators filled the Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham for the India-Pakistan Group 1 encounter in T20 World Cup 2026. This made it the highest-attended group-stage match ever at a Women's T20 World Cup. The figure surpassed the previous record of 15,935, which was also set during India-Pakistan clash in Dubai in October 2024.
