India plans $1-bn incentives for electric buses, trucks: Report

India is considering incentives worth over $1 billion to boost the adoption of electric buses and trucks, Bloomberg reported. The proposed 10-year programme aims to reduce fossil-fuel use in commercial transport amid concerns over energy security.
