India plans to buy up to 25% of LPG imports from US in 2027: Report

India plans to source up to 25% of its LPG imports from US in 2027 to reduce reliance on Middle East and support efforts to secure a trade deal with Washington, Reuters reported. State-run refiners are expected to issue tenders within one to two months for US LPG supplies. The move follows supply disruptions caused by Strait of Hormuz blockade.
