Government-operated postal system India Post has reportedly collected more than ₹800 crore through Cash-on-delivery (COD) facility ever since its introduction in December 2013. Under the e-commerce initiative undertaken, India Post has tied up with online service companies like Snapdeal, Amazon, Paytm and Yepme for delivery of packages and has also set up facilities for parcel handling.
