India Post rolls out DIGIPIN for accurate location mapping

India Post has launched DIGIPIN, a digital addressing system assigning unique 10-character codes to locations across India. Developed with IIT Hyderabad and ISRO, DIGIPIN aims to improve delivery accuracy and public services. Citizens can generate their DIGIPIN online, enabling better logistics, emergency response, and governance, especially in rural areas, as part of the Digital India initiative.
