India Post starts drone mail delivery in Himachal Pradesh

India Post has launched a drone-based mail and parcel delivery service between Mandi Head Post Office and Rehardhar Branch Post Office in Himachal Pradesh. Announced by Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, the service cuts delivery time from over two hours to just seven minutes. Around 150 drone mail routes are planned across Himachal Pradesh and Assam in the coming months.
