India ranked 78 on global corruption index, US drops out of top 20

India has been ranked 78 on the 'Corruption Perceptions Index 2018' released by the Transparency International, moving up three places from 2017. The US has been ranked 22, dropping out of top 20 on the index for the first time since 2011. Denmark topped the index, which ranks 180 countries and territories.
