India ranks 102nd of 117 nations on Global Hunger Index; below Pak, B'desh

India has been ranked 102nd out of 117 countries on Global Hunger Index 2019. India is the second lowest-ranked among the South Asian countries, with Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal ranked 94th, 88th and 73rd on the index. In India, just 9.6% of all children between 6 and 23 months of age are fed a minimum acceptable diet, the report said.
