India ranks 30 on World Economic Forum's production index

India has been ranked 30th on the World Economic Forum's (WEF) 'Structure of Production' index, while Japan topped the list. The WEF said India's manufacturing sector rose by 7% per year on average in the past three decades and demand for Indian products is rising. India was ranked below China (5th rank) but higher than other BRICS nations.
