India ranks 4th in quality of entrepreneurship ecosystem: Report

India has ranked fourth among 51 countries in an index measuring the quality of an individual economy's entrepreneurial environment in 2022. The country also ranked 4th in Global Entrepreneurship Monitor's National Entrepreneurship Context Index 2020 but slipped to 16th position in 2021. The dip in 2021 could be due to a "temporary shock" by the pandemic, the report said.
