India ranks 64th globally in AI adoption: Microsoft report

India ranked 64th among 147 countries in AI adoption, according to Microsoft's AI Diffusion Report 2025. The report said global AI use rose to 16.3 percent in H2 2025. A widening gap persists, with AI adoption in the Global North at 24.7 percent versus 14.1 percent in the Global South.
