India record 5 fourth-place finishes at Paris Olympics, most in a single Olympics

India have recorded five fourth-place finishes at the ongoing Paris Olympic Games. This is the most number of fourth-place finishes recorded by India in a single Olympics. Dhiraj Bommadevara and Ankita Bhakat finished fourth in the archery mixed team event. Lakshya Sen finished fourth in men's singles badminton event. India also recorded fourth-place finishes in three shooting events.
