India record their best-ever performance in World Wrestling Championships

India recorded their best-ever medal haul in an edition of World Wrestling Championships after winning a total of five medals. Deepak Punia won silver in men's 86kg category, while Ravi Kumar, Rahul Aware and Bajrang Punia bagged bronze in 57kg, 61kg and 65kg categories respectively. Vinesh Phogat clinched bronze in the 53kg women's category.
