India record their biggest win by runs in Australia in Test cricket history

Jasprit Bumrah-led India defeated Australia by 295 runs in the first Test in Perth to take a 1-0 lead in the five-match series. It is India's biggest win (by runs) on Australian soil in Test cricket history. Their previous biggest Test win (by runs) on Australian soil came in January 1978, when they won the Melbourne Test by 222 runs.
