India record their highest total in T20 World Cup history

India on Thursday recorded their highest T20 World Cup total by posting 256/4 against Zimbabwe in their Super Eight stage match. Abhishek Sharma top-scored for India with 55(30). India's previous highest T20 World Cup total was 218/4, which they recorded in the T20 World Cup 2007 match against England, in which Yuvraj Singh smashed six sixes in an over.
