India rejects illegal arbitration court's ruling on Indus Waters Treaty
India rejected the latest ruling issued by the so-called Court of Arbitration (CoA) on the Indus Waters Treaty, calling the body "illegally constituted" and its ruling "null and void". MEA said India has never recognised CoA's legitimacy and rejected all its previous pronouncements as well. It added that India’s decision to keep the Indus Waters Treaty in abeyance remains unchanged.
