India releases statement on ISKCON monk Das' arrest in Bangladesh, calls it 'unfortunate'

The MEA on Tuesday issued a statement after ISKCON monk Shri Chinmoy Krishna Das was arrested in Bangladesh, saying that it was unfortunate that perpetrators of violence on Hindus were at large but a religious leader was arrested for presenting legitimate demands. "We urge Bangladesh authorities to ensure the safety and security of Hindus and all minorities," MEA said.
