India removes France from its list of Most Favoured Nations

The updated India-France tax treaty called DTAC includes the deletion of France from India's list of countries that fall under the Most-Favoured-Nation (MFN) clause. Any country that falls under the clause is allowed to seek the same benefits from India that it may have promised to another country under another treaty. The removal brings an end to prolonged tax disputes.
