India removes restrictions on exports of medicines made from paracetamol

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade on Friday removed restrictions on the exports of medicines made from common pain reliever paracetamol. However, exports of the active pharmaceutical ingredients or raw materials of paracetamol will remain restricted, the DGFT said in a notification. India exported $5.8 billion worth paracetamol formulations in 2018-19.
