India reports 5,747 new COVID-19 cases, active cases stand at 46,848

India has reported 5,747 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The data showed that 5,618 people recovered in the last 24 hours following which the active COVID-19 cases in the country dropped to 46,848. This comes a day after 6,298 new COVID-19 cases were reported in India.
